One man does not a band make, so Chimaira’s vocalist Mark Hunter has decided to throw in the towel.
“After fifteen full-blown ass-ripping years, it is with great honor to announce the end of Chimaira,” he writes.
“Thanks to everyone that supported the group in any way shape or form.
“Everyone involved with the band, from members to fans, put their heart and soul into this project. We achieved a lot. We bled a lot. It fucking ruled.”
This is some sad news.
Chimaira were awesome, at times.
And obviously, we dig the band as we asked Mark to pen a regular column for us.
Fuck it, maybe I’ll cash in my chips soon too.
